Lilacs
Lilacs like full sun to part shade, neutral well drained soil, and good air circulation. A plant with great sentiment attached to it and NH’s State Flower.
Sometimes requiring a little patience for it to flower, lilacs are hardy from Zone 3-7.
Please remember that lilacs set flower buds in July-August, so if it is really dry, this is a good time to supplement their water. Feed 2x a year with a organic granular fertilizer. Vulgaris var.
