Daylilies

Irresistable, in a rainbow of colors, we have Designer Daylilies, Trophytakers, Appsters, and from our friends in the Monadnock region 3 collections: Marvellous Minis (cuties not over 3”), Scents and Sensibility (fragrant), and Snow Angels (for the shimmery white gardens).  For an easy full sun to part shade border, plant daylilies with daffodils and narcissus for a long blooming, easy garden!

Irresistable and in a variety of colors, daylilies have come a long way since I bought my first collection from White Flower Farm. Some of the plants now have flowers that are ruffled, have a picotee edge(an edge in a contrasting color) and are just amazing colors. Plant them with daffodils and narcissus for an easy long blooming border.

Repeat Blooming Insurance:
To get your daylilies to bloom again, you must deadhead the entire scape (stem that holds the flowers) after the initial flush of flowers and apply a little fertilizer-either an organic granular or a foliage feed of fish emulsion or Miracle-Gro, and of course give them a drink when it is very dry.
